Returns and Refund Policy
Payments
Payments are due at time of order, taxes are extra. All courses must be paid for prior to the course date. If you have not elected to pay by credit card online, please contact Silvercore to arrange payment prior to course date.
Silvercore accepts VISA, MasterCard, Amex, debit and cash. Orders paid by debit or cash must be arranged prior to shipment of goods or attendance of class. Please call the office at 604–940–7785 to make arrangements.
Returns/refunds of courses and Silvercore Club memberships
All orders placed with Silvercore Advanced Training Systems Inc. are non-refundable, and all sales are final.
Silvercore Gun Club Memberships are a recurring subscription that is automatically renewed at the end of your billing period (ie. every 1 year, 2 years, etc.). The auto-renewal will be for the same billing frequency as the previous one chosen (unless a change to the billing frequency is requested) and is billed using the card on file from your last membership transaction. Auto-renewal helps to ensure that your membership and insurance stay valid and that you maintain continued compliance with the RCMP Canadian Firearms Program policy club membership requirements. The auto-renewal feature can be toggled on and off at any time by logging into your account.
Due to Silvercore Club insurance and member benefits, we are unable to refund memberships for any reason after the time of purchase. Silvercore Club memberships meet Canadian legal issuance requirements for ATT’s as well as restricted PAL’s. Silvercore is not responsible for individual firearms officers denying an applicant an ATT or RPAL and membership in the Silvercore Club does not guarantee ATT issuance.
Silvercore reserves the right to assess exigent situations on the basis of their merit and maintains sole discretion over the resolution of such cases. Any cancellations or course transfers are subject to the Transfer or Cancellation Policy mentioned in section 4 and section 5 respectively.
Credit List
If a student/customer wishes to be put on a credit list instead of rebooking a course, that credit must be used within two years or the amount retained on credit will expire. The student/customer is obligated to retain proof of original purchase and credit in order to redeem the credit. Credits are not tied to a specific product, rather the original amount paid for the product or service. If the price of a product has increased since initial time of purchase, the customer will be responsible for paying the difference.
Gift Cards
Silvercore gift cards are for specific products only and have no cash value. Gift cards expire two years after purchase.
Transfers
A minimum of two weeks notice (14 days) is required if you are unable to attend a scheduled class. In order for notification to be valid, it must be received by telephone correspondence or via email with Silvercore Advanced Training Systems Inc. Messages left outside regular office hours will be deemed commenced the following regular business day. Emails received by Silvercore for any transfers are not considered valid unless the individual wishing to cancel their course receives written communication from someone at Silvercore.
If the required two weeks (14 days) notice is provided, you can be transferred to another course date, subject to a $50 transfer fee. Notifications received within 48 hours of course start time are subject to a $150 transfer fee. Request for transfers not meeting the 48 hours notice requirement will be subject to a 100% short-term cancellation fee.
Cancellations
A minimum notice of two weeks (14 days) is required if you wish to cancel your booking on a course. In order for notification to be valid, it must be received by telephone correspondence or email with Silvercore Advanced Training Systems Inc. Messages left outside regular office hours will be deemed commenced the following regular business day. Emails received by Silvercore for any cancellations are not considered valid unless the individual wishing to cancel their course receives written communication from someone at Silvercore.
If the required two weeks (14 days) notice is provided, you will receive a credit for the amount which you paid towards a future course, subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
Notifications received within 48 hours of course start time are subject to a $150 late notice cancellation fee.
The amount you paid for the original cancelled course will be kept on our credits list to be used towards a future course. The student will be required to pay, upon registration, any price increases or differences.
Cancellation or failure to attend a course without 48 hours notice will be subject to a 100% short-term cancellation fee and will forfeit all credits towards the course.
Silvercore reserves the right to limit the number of times individuals or groups can effectuate the cancellation policy.
Live fire/custom courses transfers or cancellations
Unless otherwise noted, live fire or custom courses require:
- A minimum of 30 regular business days (Monday-Friday from 9:00am – 5:00pm) is required for full transferability (also subject to a $50 transfer or cancellation fee)
- A minimum of 15 regular business days (Monday-Friday from 9:00am – 5:00pm) is required for 50% transferability (also subject to a $150 transfer or cancellation fee)
- Less than 15 regular business days (Monday-Friday from 9:00am – 5:00pm) will be subject to a 100% short-term cancellation fee

Products
Regular priced merchandise
1. Within 14 days of the shipping date, you can exchange your item or receive a refund to the original method of payment.
2. After 14 days, you can exchange your item, or we’ll issue you a merchandise credit on a gift card.
3. After 30 days, we will no longer accept returns or exchanges.
Please note: Shipping costs are not-refundable and you are responsible for return shipping.
Sale merchandise
Within 14 days of the shipping date, you can exchange your item, or we’ll issue you a merchandise credit on a gift card. Sorry, no refunds to original form of payment for sale or discounted items.
Return and exchange details
For all returns or exchanges, items must not be washed, worn or damaged. All original tags must be attached and you’ll be required to present a valid receipt. If you return your items in-store, we can process an exchange or issue you a merchandise credit.
Orders and shipments
All orders placed will take approximately 1 business day to process and send out. All orders placed outside of regular business hours (Monday-Friday 09:00-17:00) will be fulfilled the next following business day.
Canada Post is the shipment facilitator of items shipped by Silvercore. Please be aware that all shipping times are dependant on the carrier.
Other important information
Course cancellations
Silvercore reserves the right to cancel any training course and when possible reasonable notice will always be attempted. If a course is cancelled by Silvercore, the registered students are eligible to receive 100% of their tuition fee reimbursed. Silvercore is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by the student as a result of the course cancellation.
Attendance
100% attendance is expected for all classes, and is required for the CFSC/CRFSC and CORE Hunter Education course. The RCMP has a minimum number of course hours that are required before testing is permitted. If you are late to class the Instructor has the authority and right to turn away any student at which point our Transfer/Cancellation Policy is envoked and your credit will be lost. Any student that is late will forfeit their seat and course fee and be re-booked at their own expense.
Ammunition
Please note that absolutely no live ammunition is allowed into the CFSC/CRFSC, CORE, or any other non-live fire course. Therefore, it is strictly prohibited to bring such to classes you may be enrolled in.
Peace Bond
Please also note that if you have been subject to a peace bond, protection order you will need to first receive approval from the Canadian Firearms Centre prior to attending a class. You can contact the Canadian Firearms Centre at 1-800-731-4000.
Prohibited from firearm possession
Any individual prohibited from possessing firearms cannot attend any of our firearms courses including the CFSC/CRFSC, and live fire courses.
