Skills and tactics to train the defensive mindset and provide physical tools to survive armed encounters.
The student is responsible for bringing their own handgun. If the student does not have access to a handgun, arrangements can be made with Silvercore to rent one. The student must bring three magazines or speed loaders for their firearm, a sturdy belt and rigid belt holster made of kydex or leather that covers the trigger guard. If you are renting the firearm from Silvercore, the magazines and holsters will be provided.
If you do not have your own equipment, Silvercore provides rental packages. Handguns and holsters are subject to availability so contact us early.Handgun, Holster and Magazines

The student is required to bring a minimum of 400 rounds of ammunition for this training course.
Magnum calibers are not permitted. (ie. .357 mag, +P ammo etc..) and no steel jacketed ammunition. Copper full metal jacketed (FMJ) is acceptable.
Ammunition can be purchased through Silvercore if advanced notice is given.
Personal safety equipment
You will need a supporting shoe with good traction, a billed hat (baseball hat), quality wraparound eye protection, and hearing protection. Eye and hearing protection are mandatory for everyone on the range. Shirt should be form fitting at torso and cuffs as to not snag the equipment. No loose collars as stray brass can get stuck down your shirt. Pants should allow ample movement and allow the student to affix a belt holster.
Safety Equipment can be arranged through Silvercore with advanced notice.
Silvercore's training is approved and recognized through HRDC
Anyone over the age of 16 who takes a course with Silvercore which either enables them to work or improves their skills in a recognized occupation may be eligible to claim their course fees under the education and textbook tax credits. We limit our class size to a maximum of 12 students to give the highest level of attention. Handgun Level III is designed for the more advanced student wishing to further their knowledge of safe and effective handgun use.Feel free to contact us for more information.
